Refurbished Products
At Wispeed, we believe that more sustainable mobility also means extending the lifespan of products. Through our Second Life approach, we promote repair, refurbishment, and recycling initiatives to help reduce the environmental impact of our equipment.
Yes. Our "Spare Parts" section includes a full range of genuine components compatible with our product lines, including batteries, tires, inner tubes, braking components, displays, chargers, and accessories. We recommend replacing the defective component rather than the entire vehicle whenever possible, in order to extend the product's lifespan and reduce the need for new raw materials. In line with this commitment to repairability, spare parts are guaranteed to remain available for 7 years from the date the product is first placed on the market.
To ensure a spare part is compatible with your product, refer to your model’s exact reference number, which can be found on the product page, in the user manual, and on the label attached to the vehicle. Each spare part listing specifies the compatible models. If you are unsure, our customer service team is available to assist you: simply provide your model reference and serial number, and we will verify compatibility before you make your purchase. If a part has been ordered by mistake, it may be returned in accordance with the conditions set out under your right of withdrawal.
Some routine maintenance operations can be carried out by users themselves by following the instructions in the user manual, such as inflating tires, adjusting brakes, or replacing accessories. Other interventions, particularly those involving the battery, motor, or electrical system, may present safety risks and should be performed by a qualified professional. Any work carried out contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations, or the installation of non-genuine parts, may compromise the safety of the vehicle and could affect warranty coverage for any resulting damage.
A used battery should never be disposed of with household waste, as it must be handled through a dedicated recycling and collection program. Please take it to an authorized battery collection point. A battery that is damaged, deformed, punctured, or emits an unusual odor must no longer be used or recharged; it should be kept away from heat sources and flammable materials. Our batteries are manufactured without cadmium, nickel, or lead, in compliance with European Directive 2006/66/EC.
An electric scooter or electric balance bike is classified as electrical and electronic equipment and must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead, it should be taken to a dedicated collection and recycling facility so that its components can be properly sorted, recovered, and recycled. You can bring it to a recycling center or an authorized collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Before disposing of your vehicle, consider whether it can be repaired. Our "Spare Parts" section is designed to help extend the lifespan of your vehicle.
